Karkonosze Mountains May 2012

Share

During long May weekend we've decided to visit the Czech Republic in order to hike in Karkonosze Mountains. Our headquarter for the whole week was Spindleruv Mlyn. The city seamed abandoned during the Summer period, but we assumed that during Winter season it's full of people. It's extremely easy for accommodation during Summer season Smile

In the pictures you can the landscapes from around Śnieżka, Przełęcz Karkonoska, Śnieżne Kotły or Harrahova Skala. The weather was amazing through the whole week, although we were a little surprised with all the snow lying around... it's hard to walk on such surface, because you can collapse into snow to the knee level. On the other hand it's pretty cool to walk around in t-shirt and short trousers when there's a snow around. Great, new experience!
